Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Ambiful Abroad app for iPhone, iPad and Android and to abroad.ambiful.com (together, "Ambiful Abroad"), provided by Ambiful Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India ("we"). By using Ambiful Abroad you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our privacy policy explains what data we keep and why.

1. What Ambiful Abroad is, and is not

Ambiful Abroad is a planning tool. It gives general information about studying or looking for work in Germany, based on rules, fees and dates published by official bodies, and organises it into a plan for you.

It is not legal, immigration, visa, financial, tax or education advice, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional about your own situation. We are not a law firm, an immigration adviser, a recruitment agency or an education consultancy, and we do not act for you with any university, authority or employer.

2. No guarantees

We do not promise, and nothing in Ambiful Abroad means, that you will be admitted to a university, receive an APS certificate, a visa, an Opportunity Card or any other permit, or find a job. Those decisions are made by universities, uni-assist, APS, the German missions, the German authorities and employers, on their own rules. Where Ambiful Abroad shows a route as "open to you" or counts points, that is our reading of the published rules for the answers you gave, not a decision.

3. Figures and sources can change

Rules, fees, amounts, deadlines and processing times change, sometimes without notice. We link every figure to the official page it comes from and show when we last checked it, and we check them regularly, but there can be a gap between a change and our update. Before you pay, apply or travel, confirm the figure on the official source. Amounts in rupees are estimates at the exchange rate shown.

4. AI features

Some Pro tools (letter and CV feedback, letter tailoring, interview practice, emails to referees) use an AI model to write suggestions. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Read it critically: you decide what you write and submit, and the work you submit must be your own.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give true answers: the plan is only as accurate as what you enter.
• Keep your own deadlines, applications, payments and documents, and keep copies of anything important.
• Upload only documents you are entitled to, and nothing unlawful, harmful or belonging to someone else without their permission.
• Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Do not misuse Ambiful Abroad: no scraping, reverse engineering, attempts to break its security, or use for anyone else’s fraud.

6. Free features and the Pro pass

The core plan is free. The Pro pass is a one-off in-app purchase that unlocks the Pro tools for 6 months from purchase. It does not renew and nothing is charged again. It belongs to your Ambiful Abroad account and works on any phone or tablet you sign in on.

Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play) under their terms. Refunds are handled by them under their refund policies; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves. We may add, change or retire Pro tools; while your pass runs we will not take away its core purpose of unlocking the Pro tools available at the time.

7. Our liability

We build Ambiful Abroad with care, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you or others make using it, or for indirect or consequential losses such as lost admissions, application fees, travel costs, income or opportunities. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Pro pass in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

8. Third-party services and links

Ambiful Abroad links to official and third-party websites (universities, uni-assist, APS, German missions, DAAD, Goethe-Institut, providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or services.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Ambiful Abroad and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law. Section 7 continues to apply after use ends.

10. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in substance we publish the new version here with its date and ask you to accept it in the app before you continue.

11. Law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India with jurisdiction over our registered office decide disputes, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission.
